My Z1 Compact (on 4.4.4) and Nexus 5 (on 5.1) still have v1.7.6 from November, with no update available from the Play Store. I don't have a Nexus Player so can't look at that version (I'm in the UK but I have my Overplay SmartDNS settings set on my DD-WRT Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite to spoof Zattoo Switzerland (with Recall)). How to Play Zattoo on PC,Laptop,Windows. 1.Download and Install XePlayer Android Emulator.Click 'Download XePlayer' to download. 2.Run XePlayer Android Emulator and login Google Play Store. 3.Open Google Play Store and Zattoo and download, or import the apk file from your PC Into XePlayer to install it.

So you can’t set recordings, nor can you use Recall. For that reason, I can’t see any actual point of the EPG except one – in that Zattoo plan to introduce Recordings and Recall in the near future. Further evidence supporting this potential move is that Zattoo have just begun Recall in Germany, even if it is incredibly limited in the channels it supports. So there would be a reason to add Recall to the Fire TV app even though that is not available in Switzerland.

Android TV (as in the Nexus Player for example) is available in Switzerland. I can’t promise it Paul, but if I were to put a wager on it, I’d say that Recall at least will find its way onto both the Fire TV and Android TV platforms soon.
