Tutorial about cracking ground and breaking obstacles with an animated object using Pulldownit in Maya Same.
Thinkinetic has released, the latest version of its shatter and destruction plugin. New features include: • A new utility that spreads Maya nParticles over faces per material, enabling the user to emit extra debris, dust or smoke only from chosen faces. • Heavy animated meshes are now up to 3x times faster to update in dynamics. Animated or deforming meshes such as character`s skin are now updated quickly to provide a smoother experience when including them in destruction scenes. • A new “Increase Selection” option makes it easier to create clusters by selecting groups of small fragments.
The tool selects neighbouring fragments in the same area with one click. • A new “Only Breaks” fracture option captures larger cracks and detachments, this useful feature forces the model to stand while being impacted, its behaviour has been improved so now it can generate larger cracks and detachments when they don’t jeopardize the overall structure. • Fracture Body Friction, Bounciness, Sec Cracks and Damping parameters can now be animated to give the user more control over a fracture simulation. In addition, these settings plus Mass parameters can also be animated for more control over rigid bodies simulations. • Users now have the ability to change a propagation scheme at a specific frame For example, a user can damage an object locally and then change to continuous propagation at a specified frame to break it completely.
Wince 6 download. • There is a new option to show/hide/select all the disabled rigid bodies in scene. • A new Aquire Shatter function can transfer animation from a single shape node to multi shape nodes. Pulldownit costs €395.

Pulldownit 3 Released for 3dsMax and Maya has been released with new features for Cg destruction, You can see demo videos for 3dsMax and Maya and details below: Pulldownit 3 for Maya New Features Part I Showing how to shatter geometry and compute fracture with for Maya. Pulldownit 3 for Maya New Features: Crackers Part 2 Showing how to crack surfaces with for Maya Pulldownit 3 for Max New Features Part I Showing new shatter preview and clusters in for 3d Max. Pulldownit 3 for Max New Features part II Showing how to crack surfaces with in for Max And an awesome shot by Ivan de Frias using Pulldownit 3 Pulldownit 3 new features: Shattering of objects is now 20% faster.
New Preview Mode for Shattering: Allowing user to visualize all shatter params before breaking the geometry. Conform Voronoi Reshatering: User is not longer constrained when reshattering a model, any shatter pattern can be added to the current set of fragments seamlessly, in addition new Conform Voronoi reshatering reduce the number of straight edges in the shatter pattern, hence improving the quality of the fragments generated.
New Width parameter for Radial Shatter: adjust the size of radial pattern visually New Undo Last button for undoing only the last shatter operation. New Crackers Window: New window for controlling dynamic cracks, you count with several parameters for adjusting the cracks generation. New Clusters Panel: User now can set clusters of fragment with different fracture parameters in the same fracture body, clusters can be edited at any time and are saved with the scene. Bounded Force fields can break fracture bodies: Any bounded force field can break fracture bodies in an accurrate way. Speed up auto body creation: Creating many rigid bodies at once from complex geometry is much faster now. Maya viewport 2.0 supported in Maya 2015: Vieport 2.0 is supported in Maya 2015, however the performance of the tool is still faster using legacy viewport.
