The research implementation was the application of cooperative learning model teams games tournaments (TGT) type to improve study result on playing football to the students of class VIIB SMP Negeri 1 Tanon Sragen Regency in 2015/ 2016 Academic Year.

This research was a classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted with two cycles, in every cycle consisting of planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 32 students of class VIIB SMPN 1 Tanon Sragen Regency, there are 17 boys and 15 girls. The data sources were from teachers and students.
Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran ips siswa kelas v sdn kalibanteng kidul 01 kota semarang (application of cooperative learning model type make a match to enhance quality of learning social. There are currently no refbacks.
The collecting data was through ability test and the observation was from learning process. The analysis data used qualitative description. Qualitative technique was done because the collecting data was the description of developing learning process students’ participation on playing football. The result showed that the application of cooperative learning model teams games tournaments (TGT) on playing football from pre-cycle to cycle I and cycle I to cycle II.
From the analysis result got, the improving of learning result from cycle I from 32 students reached 71,82% or 23 students passed the grade and from cycle II increased 87,50% or 28 students passed the grade, while 4 students did not pass the grade 75. The research conclusion was the application of cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Type can improve the study result on playing football to the students of class VIIB SMPN 1 Tanon Sragen Regency in 2015/ 2016 Academic Year.
